This is a printable re-railer section for use with a piece of flex track in code 80 N-scale. All dimensions are parameterized, so it could be adapted to other scales by plugging the appropriate measurements into the .scad file.
My son recently expressed interest in model railroading. While I had some hesitation regarding a 10-year-old's patience for lining up the tiny wheels of N-scale rolling stock, I didn't want to spring for all-new track, rolling stock, etc. in HO. I bought some flex track but the hobby shop was sold out of re-railers. I found designs on Thingiverse for G-scale and O-scale re-railers, but nothing in N. Here's my attempt.
(It turns out that Papa's old eyes need this more than the Lad's young ones!)
