Here are 4 modified versions of the tracks from RC Tank, published by Staind. They are intended to increase grip while still being easy to print. During testing, I preferred combining the tracks with nails; therefore some files are with 3mm holes for 3M screws and 2mm holes for 2x20mm nails. Nevertheless, drilling is mandatory. When using nails the outside holes should be drilled out slightly larger such that the tracks could move freely.

Short description of the files:

track V1 mod1 – consists of 2 parts, part (a) is the track base with a groove and part (b) is a pad that fits into the groove. The pad can be pressed and glued in.
track V1 mod2 – basically the same as mod1, but with 2 shorter pads instead of a long one. This prevents the track form flexing and digging into the ground.
track V1 mod3 – this is a spike version intended for ice and it turned out more powerful than expected. It is easy to make since it only needs 3x5mm long pieces of 1.75 filament to be glued in the 3 holes on the bottom of the track. Care should be taken, this tracks can harm.
track V1 mod4 – designed to increase grip on snow, sand, mud. This version is slightly higher and can be combined with mod1 and mod2.
