Super model of the Arleigh Burke class Destroyer from 22th_dv and wanted to make it suitable for radio control. This has the hull all hollowed out with prop shafts open and split to fit on most FDM printers. All hull pieces and deck sections are numbers for easy assembly.
On these types of models I will do the hull pieces on my FDM printer and the detailed deck sections on my resin. Just make sure to hollow out the upper sections to keep the weight down so it is not top heavy.
At 1:125 scale that makes the finished length about 48", but feel free to scale all pieces up or down, as needed. Add a MH-60R helo on the flight deck for that extra touch.
