WORK IN PROGRESS.
This is a model of a footy boat hull that I designed.
The idea was to produce a hull that would contain a trunk for the rudder, fin and mast, all as one pice, also that would be easy to print and without the need for supports.
The boat hull is printed in half, then aligned and glued using epoxy smeared over the two bulkheads.
I also made a hatch that will be cut out with hot knife after printing for the electronics.
The hatch cover will be upload soon.
Printing:
The hulls shell thickness is 0.5mm (except the trunks and bulkheads inside)
Therefore, you need to make sure the layer line width is 0.5
(It changed to 0.6mm in V.2)
Feel free to send me any question or advice!

UPDATE:
After printing the hull I realized that the construction have some weak spots, mainly on the sides panels. So, I changed the shell thickness from 0.5mm to 0.6mm and added x4 more bulkheads and one horizontal frame crossings all bulkheads.
Also, I realized that the hatch is too small for the power system I’m planning to use (a 3x AAA batteries box that will be located inside the hull). I scaled it up so I could slide it inside easily.
I printed it again and I’m pretty happy with the results. The hull is now by far stronger and weighs 70g.
Pictures will be uploaded soon
