Steering rudder for small boats like LRP Deep Blue One. I made this one to costumize my Deep Blue One and test a improved steering layout with 2 angled rudders to allow better steering. It can also be used as a single rudder for small 3d printed boat projects.
The rudder blade have to be printed 2 times, one of them mirrored and then glued together. Since these are small and thin parts, they should be printed with max. 0.15mm layer thickness and maybe a nozzle smaller than 0.4mm if possible.
The videos are showing the standard rudder on my boat, but it is mounted on the right side because I have changed the prop. The steering don't work so well anymore, so I made this custom thing. A video which shows the boat driving with the new parts will come soon.
