The file 'Raven Q-LAM – 35 Ton Battlemech 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 13.0MB.
This model was created by combining various other models. All credit goes to the original modelers and artists, I simply fashioned them into something more my preference.
Originally developed from the RVN-4L, the Raven Q-LAM (Quasi-Land-Air Battlemech) variant cannot achieve true powered-flight, but instead, a pair of specially-designed foldable gliding wings allow it to essentially triple its maximum jump distance, simulating flight at a fraction of the power requirements. The integrated flaps also allow it to change direction mid-glide, giving to some degree of maneuvering while in the air. It retains its Stealth Armor, two Clan ER Medium Lasers, TAG, and Angel ECM suite, but replaces the NARC Missile Beacon and SRM-6 with an ATM 3 mounted under each of its wings. It incorporates two jump jets and a single improved jump jet to its system, which combined with its gliding ability, gives it a maximum jump distance of 360 meters on level ground; even longer if from higher altitude.
Have fun.
