The file 'Ratcheting Bit Wrench 3D Printer Model' is (STL,SLDPRT) file type, size is 787.8KB.
The goal was to create a light, but still usable Bit-Wrench.
The Design features a ratcheting mechanism similliar to a bike freehub, this makes it quite sturdy, while still having fine tooths. It moves 8° / click. It requires 6xM3 bolts, and i also added a little bit of grease to mine, just to make it a little quieter.
I tried disassembling various parts with it, and it held up just fine, just don´t use it as a breaker bar, and you probably won´t have any issues.
I used generic PLA, Shell thickness of 1.2, Fill density of 20%
The version shown in the pictures is missing the direction indicator, this is added in the uploaded file.
Update: I designed a new gearing, this version now requires way less force to ratchet than the previous version, while being just as strong. The part works with the existing body, so it is a nice and simple upgrade. I also tested it to torques of 5Nm, higher than that and the Hex slips, however I am working on that problem, so stay tuned.
