I don't like the small and fragile form factor of the Raspberry Pi. And I don't like these wall adapters either. I wanted something solid and integrated the power supply unit into the housing, just like a PC.
So you can connect the device directly to the mains. Together with a small screen and a wireless mouse/keyboard combo, you can get a pretty cool setup. You have to be careful what you do when you're working with the mains. I also had to cut a piece of the power and HDMI cable to bend it more and fit it in. In hindsight, it could have been a bit bigger, but then it wouldn't be a 10x10x10 cube anymore.
