For my application the Raspberry Pi needs to be attached to a mount from the top. I didn't have any long enough 2.4mm bolts on hand, but did have appropriate risers. So I removed the riser component from meie1kyl's excellent design and attached the flattened fan mount to risers that are holding the RPI to its mount.
