I made this Raspberry Pi case for my Home Assistant set-up which uses a 120GB 2.5" SSD because the high write count made MicroSDs susceptible to failure. Since SSDs are relatively cheap these days and I had a couple spares laying around I figured why not make a case to integrate the RPi and a full size SSD.
I used this USB 3.0 x SATA adapter cable: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F7WDZGT?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
Currently, I am not using the 40mm fan but left that in the print in case I wanted to add it in later. I decided to carry this design over to my Octopi and added some 4040 V-Slot rails to the side. You have the option of printing either now.
I printed both parts without support (except for the v-slot version) on standard 0.2mm print settings with the Ender 3 V2.
Hardware Needed:
4X - M3x30 Countersunk Head
4X - M2.5x6 Pan Head
4X - M3-12 Countersunk Head + M3 nut (optional with 40mm fan)
