I made this primarily for my RAM GPS mount; When attached to my motorcycle, the vibration would always cause my Garmin GPS to shut off after a few minutes of riding.
With this installed, my GPS stays on during my rides (both on & off-road).
The last picture shows the actual rubber dampers I used, along with the dimensions. many hobby stores sell these dampers.
Made to fit standard Ram 2-hole (AMPS) mounts, between device holder / cradle and Ram mounting ball.
Make sure you have a backup lanyard / tether tied to your device and motorcycle; This also acts as a break-away in case of a fall.
