Summary

QX13 BUTT-CAN ADAPTOR LEAVES

Please see http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2220337 for the “STEM” to this project!

This file is provided for personal education and study ONLY! (The stem portion is commons, share-alike, attribution! But this file is for study only!) The leaves are a replica of the cap to the Gogo Squeez applesauce pouch. It could arguably be considered a trademark. But this file can be used personally to experiment with:

  • Large Models.
  • Adhesive Techniques. (I used J.B. Plastic Weld on PLA)
  • Adapting connecting components to your own unique design.

I created the Bodies in FUSION 360. The pieces are mirrored, so only one piece-file is required. You can Boolean-add them in a cad program and then create your own design using similar techniques.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS! I am already redesigning this project in multiple pieces that would not require glue!

STEP files are included for the single, and the double versions so that you can modify them in a cad program. Have fun!

This was sliced and coded using ReplicatorG employing 2 shells (3 total) using PLA.

  • FlashForge Creator Pro (Similar to Makerbot Replicator 2)
  • Heated Bed 45 Celsius
  • Blue Painters Tape on bed, no further treatment
  • Print Temperature 220 degrees Celsius
  • Supports, NO rafts.
  • Feedrate 40 mm/s
  • Travel Feedrate 55
(If anybody has more optimum feedrates, please share!)

REQUEST: Please help me improve my sharing! STEP files have proven reliable for me to transport file between different CAD platforms. If STEPs are a problem for you, please let me know what other common and relatively generic Cad format works better for you.
