Quick clamp Plunge saw adapter for LIDL Parkside track
Update 19May24
The track clamp had a failure when cutting down a door so it has been redesigned as Version 2.
This now has side flares to strengthen the body significantly. See pictures.
Also added a replacement 10mm extension pad so there is now no minimum clamping distance.
The existing pad slides off and the 10mm pad slides in to place. It is close tolerance on my Prusa Mini+ and if it is too tight on your printer I recommend a slight increase in scaling to suit.
This adapter uses the 100mm ratchet bar quick grip mini light duty clamp.
I bought the Silverline 250108 clamps but I have some Kaheigh 4inch clamps which are identical just different branding.
The fixed clamp can be removed and replaced with the adapter, fixing in place with the existing nut and bolt.
Due to the design of the clamps the minimum workpiece thickness that can be clamped is 10mm.
This is not an issue for me as I never cut material less than 10mm.
However I am working on a thicker replacement clamp pad to overcome this limitation.
Printed in PLA at 0.2mm and without supports on a Prusa Mini+.
I printed with 20% fill but higher fill rates will make a stronger print.
I've included the STEP file as well as STL to make it easier to modify if required.
Hope this helps someone.
