I own the original El Dorado and did not want to buy the new one.
Using images printed from Bgg and some STL files redesigned from here, I was able to recreated almost 2 thirds of this expansion for free!
Printed the treasure image, cut them out and placed in 25mm coin capsules. Cut a circle (10c Australian piece) of colour and place on top. I used yellow. Then print 12 dragon coins, place on top and seal it. That's the treasure module.
Print 4 dragons. I had spare colour round tokens handy to use (20mm x 10mm) but you could use the v2 file and print 4 different colours. I do not have a wide selection of colours at home.
Cards for the deck. Again I got images from. BGG, printed them off (at a smaller size) then put them into spare sleeved cards
