Summary

This is an organiser to store all of the components from The Quest for El Dorado 2022 Meeple Edition including all promo cards along with the first 3 Expansions ("Heroes & Hexes", "Dangers & Muisca" and "Dragons, Treasures & Mysteries"). When put together, the organisers have total dimensions of 287x287x68. There is space to add future expansions if they become available, but will likely need a tray or two to be redesigned.

NOTE: The 2022 Meeple Edition has thin card stock player boards whilst the later editions may have thick cardboard player boards. This design won't fit thick cardboard player boards, but I think I should be able to design a version it to fit them. This design won't fit the original English First Edition from 2017.

You will need to print one of each of the following tray:

  • Card Tray
  • Side Tray 1
  • Side Tray 2
  • Side Tray 3
  • Tile Tray 1
  • Tile Tray 2
  • Tile Tray 3

However, there are some options for some of those. If there is LW in the filename it is a lightweight version where I have cut out some of the bottom of the tray to make it lighter. None of the inserts are heavy, but the weight of them really adds some heft to the box. I didn't think of this until after I printed my trays so I have not printed or tested the lightweight trays myself.

There are two options where you can store the Cave Tiles from the base game. You can put them in either Tile Tray 3 or in Side Tray 1. So, you need to print either or both v2 versions of these trays depending on where you want to keep them. Just don't print both of these trays in v1 or you won't have anywhere to fit the base game Cave Tiles. In the photos I have printed both v2 versions and the base game Cave Tiles are in Tile Tray 3. There is ample room for extra Cave Tiles in Side Tray 1 v2 in case a future expansion comes out I hopefully won't have to modify this tray.

Tile Tray 1 is basically a filler as I didn't need the space. I may redesign this when a future expansion is released. If you have any ideas on a better way to use this space in the meantime, please let me know.
