Summary

This is a remix of the Sanlaki Gripstock for Quest 2.
This upgrade will give you an incredibly lightweight stock solution that still allows a great range of motion and very little fatigue when using a knuckle strap.

ADDITIONAL PARTS NEEDED:

  1. A 1.5m length of 9.5mm dowel (common at the timber store)
  2. A Saw to cut the dowel
  3. Adhesive (optional)

I redesigned the functionality a little bit, the changes are as follows:

  1. Added holes specifically to suit 9.5mm wooden dowel, allowing full personalization of stock length, front and back.

  2. Tilted the front of the stock by 2 degrees, giving a generally better ADS angle.

  3. Strengthened the front section

  4. Added a cavity to the underside for an optional knuckle strap.

The dowel should twist in nice and snug without sanding, and be tight enough to not require glue.
Because the front is tilted forward and the rear is not, you will need three total separate dowel pieces.

Support Angle = 70

The tip can be printed without support if your printer is dialled in.
All items are in the correct optimal orientation.

Total weight with controller is about 240g. SO LIGHT
