The file 'QIDI 3D X-Plus And X-MAX Spool Roller 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 4.0MB.
I designed this spool roller to clip on to the QIDI X-PLUS printer. (UPDATE: 21MAY2020, added X-MAX rollers) I didn't like the amount of friction that the built in spool holder creates, especially on TPU material. It was causing voids. This set of rollers has a much lower rolling resistance. It's easy to attach and remove if you need to attach the hood for ABS.
If the bearings don't fit on the posts of the sides, just heat the posts a little to soften them. The fit doesn't have to be very tight because the "roller locks" will keep the roller sides from separating. They don't move once on the printer either way.
The roller is 170mm wide, wide enough for two spools at the same time if you like to switch back and forth between two spools for a print.
Print each side, 2 x roller locks, 2 rollers.
I have added a filament guide. This helps to keep the filament on the spool and not tangling when the spools are very full. I no longer use the filament guide. I orient the spools to feed filament from the bottom, making the guide unnecessary. I left the guide here in case people still find it useful.
You will need 4 x 608 bearings.
