The file '[PythonSCAD] Sliding Covid19 No Touch / Door Opener Tool 3D Printer Model' is (py,stl) file type, size is 437.1KB.
This is a Covid19 "No Touch" Door Opener tool that slides open/close.
It has resistance to closing. The slide lock mechanism from mishkin's "maker knife clone" locks, unless the user pull/push the thumb ring. It's a fantastic mechanism that prevents accidental closing. And it is surprisingly durable.
It doubles as a fidget toy. Trust me, it is addicting to slide this in and out. It has a wonderful tactile feedback.
It doubles as a small locking karabiner. In the closed position, there's enough gap to put through a key ring, or a plastic bag. A nice accidental feature :)
Multiple lock positions. You can extend and lock the no touch tool in several positions. Useful for any pushing/pulling motions you need to perform with the no touch tool.
Added lanyard hole. I wanted to pocket this tool, with a cord to a pants key clip like https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6728937.
