The file 'Pythagorean Cup As A Model For Tipping Points 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 689.1KB.
I wanted to show the mechanics of tipping points with a model that visitors of the Future Museum can freely explore and play with. The usual task is to fill an amount of water (like 100mL) into a set number of cups without any of them draining out. The cups are made in a way that makes it not visible from the outside where that tipping point is. In order to solve the problem one has to carefully study and measure the tipping points of each of the cups. The analogy here is that humanity knows very little about the limits of our ecosphere and instead of rushing towards a multiple of tipping points, we should instead take our time to figure out these limits exactly.
