The file 'PX625/MR-9 Mercury Battery Adapter-converter W/diode 3D Printer Model' is (SLDPRT,STL) file type, size is 1.7MB.
An adapter for using SR44 or SR43 silver oxide cell in cameras designed for the deprecated PX625/MR-9 Mercury battery. The adapter uses a 1N5711 diode to drop approximately 0.2 volts from the 1.55v silver cell to the 1.35v of a mercury cell. This is a common solution, normally added internally to the camera. The adapter allows you to avoid dismantling and altering the camera, buy squeezing it into the battery compartment. I will try to keep a list of cameras this adapter fits, as it will not fit all cameras.
Fit: By necessity the adapter cannot exactly mirror the dimensions of the PX625.
The dimension is slightly taller with the SR-43 and significantly taller with the SR-44.
The lower portion (positive end) under the rim is significantly wider than the original.
There are two main versions:
Bottom contact and Side contact. The bottom contact version is designed to suit standard screw in type battery compartments such as Pentax spotmatics, while the side contact is intended for cameras that use side loader compartments such as the Canon QL-17.
Current version of these models may not print well on 0.4mm nozzles. I will update with versions designed for this if so.
