This design adds a lightsaber hilt to a 3/4" PVC pipe and uses a large diameter pool noodle as the blade. Great for duels without getting hurt. The pieces slide on the PVC but I recommend using super glue on them to stop them from spinning.
Put all the pieces on the pipe a few inches above where you want them to end up, glue the cap on the end. Then just put glue on the pipe right above the cap / last piece and slide the next piece down in to place. Doesn't need a lot of glue, just enough to stop the pieces from spinning on the pipe.
The cap goes on the other end and hold the noodle on the pipe. This can also be glued in or you can rely on the press fit and still be able to swap out colors of noodle, its up to you and how strong you want it to be.
