The file 'Pug Keychain 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 257.96 KB.
My girlfriend loves dogs (specially pugs) so I decided to print her a cool keychain.
I looked around in Thingiverse and I found a nice design made by niftymaker.
The first time that I printed it I had problems with the small details in the center but I think that it was my fault since the heated bed was not leveled properly.
Once I fixed that it came out perfectly but I still didn't like it.
The small details of the pug's mouth/nose are thin and they can get easily stuck in clothes, scarves ecc, and the last thing that I want is to give away something that could break.
So I modified it a little creating a full base under the work made by niftymaker.
In order to make something different from the usual I decided to print it in two different colors. The base/background in Black PLA, and the pug section in White PLA.
I designed the file creating a base of 2mm height and the pug section of 2mm too.
I printed the first 10 layers in Black PLA, then I paused the print, I swapped the filament to the White PLA and I resumed the print.
As you can see from the pictures it came out great!
