PSX DVR's that i have encountered has a notorious fault of broken hinge on the front cover. This is my design for repairing front cover hinges. Print to of this part, one normal and one mirrored. Shave the remaining plastic hinge on the cover and glue the new hinge. I tried this part with DESR-5100 model, i don't know if this works for other models so please let me know if you try.
