Summary

This is a tweaked version of Protobuilds' design here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:846157

This bracket attaches a 12V 30A power supply to 2020 based aluminum extrusion, such as OpenBuilds V-slot or other. I used it on my Voxel Ox 8" 3D Printer.

Works great in conjuction with my PSU Cover here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1091686

Changes made from original:

  • Overhang snaps are little shorter and rounded now, to make it easier to snap power supply in.
  • Added slight taper to the snap to really grip the PSU in place, no movement at all with just a single notched mount bracket.
  • Rotated to the intended orientation for printing

Hardware needed:
2x M5 8mm length bolts
2x t-slot nuts.

Mounting my PSU with a single "notched" version is plenty secure for me.

"No notch" version is also provided in case you prefer a two bracket mounting(for 20x40 20x60 20x80 or just two spaced apart 20x20). The no notch can slide along length of power supply to adjust for however your extrusion is spaced.

Very simple and effective design.
