Here is my project for PS1 SCPH-1002 and Raspberry Pi Zero 2 board.
I managed to fit it all together with cables which I purchased from Ali express and 3D parts from other Thingiverse users. Here they are:
I used two front ports for gamepads by enabling gamecon_rpi driver. The setup has been documented on https://retropie.org.uk/docs/GPIO-Modules/
Custom power supply is really optional. If I was to know its hard to adjust it i would buy something like this: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804815197248.html
Also: I used glue to fix RPI base and purchased heatsink 15x15x7mm from here: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805125401431.html
