Summary

This project is an enclosure for Prusa MK3 with MMU2 using Ikea Lack tables. The original Prusa project (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2864118) is too tight for MMU2 so the corner parts were redesigned to leave more vertical space between two Lack tables.

The project also includes parts to get the MMU2 teflon tubes through the top table surface. I used these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KHN1HWY PC4-M10 quick fitting connectors for easy removal of teflon tubes.

2019-01-13: added corner connection parts that will hold plexi in place. corner_connection_psu_v5.stl has space below to pull the power supply (PSU) cables underneath so that upper part table can we lifted up without changing cables. See the photo of the printed part showing the position against the red-black power cables. I have not tested this yet so this is a pre-view release.

2019-04-07: uploaded a video to YouTube (see https://youtu.be/8ycMkW_aRLk ) that shows how plexiglass panels are mounted. We created holders that have small magnets so that it is easy to remove the plexi and mount it back again in few seconds. I used Optix acrylic sheet 18 in x 24 in 0.080 in (2mm) - this was available at the local Lowes hardware store (https://www.lowes.com/pd/OPTIX-18-in-x-24-in-Clear-Acrylic-Sheet/3143523 ). This plexi was easy to cut into right size using a knife to make a cut and then just remove extra length by snapping it.

I uploaded all the new STL files...look at file names starting with Thingies.stl.

I used these screws to mount the corner part to the table top:

2019-05-12: uploaded 233_Thingies_connection_component.stl (and another one with space for PSU wires) - these are a bit shorter version for the magnetic connectors holding plexiglass in place.
