Summary

For my second Prusa i3 MK2, I wanted to use an industrial NEMA damper/decoupler, like this here from eBay (DE): https://goo.gl/6nvFga
Unfortunately, the original Y-axis stepper motor mounting plate secures the stepper only at two vertically arranged points. But the damper needs two diagonally arranged screw holes.

So I decided to redesign the original Part and added a third mounting point.

A nice side effect of this design is that it is now also usable by any other Prusa i3 MK2 user that wants to add more rigidity to the axis' stepper motor.

I don't understand why Prusa Research originally designed this part with only two mounting points, giving the fact that the heated bed assembly is the most massive part that has to be moved around. This is the beautiful part of open builds: You can do it better on your own! :-)
