The file 'Project Box/enclosure With Simple Removable Zip Tie Tiedown Plate 3D Printer Model' is (scad, stl) file type, size is 594.4KB.

Summary

Electronics project box / enclosure, which allows components to be easily secured to a removable tiedown plate using nylon zip ties rather than bolts. Everything about the case is customizable by simply changing constants in Constants.scad.

The sidewalls of the enclosure can contain one or more cable entry holes with user-specified position and diameter. The holes are aligned between rows or columns of adjacent tiedown holes, so that an incoming cable can be zip-tied directly to the tiedown plate, in alignment with the entry hole.

The case is capped above and below by lid layers, which may optionally include ventilation slots with customizable width, length, and spacing.

The four sections are printed separately, and bolted together in the corners. The two middle (non-lid) sections are printed upside down so that support material doesn't have to be printed. Assembly.stl shows how the layers should be assembled.

Print with 100% infill, otherwise the corners will be weak.

If you get this error: "WARNING: Normalized tree is growing past 200000 elements. Aborting normalization" -- then you need to raise the rendering limit: "Preferences > Advanced > Turn off rendering at: 200000 elements". Raise it to 900000 or something.
