Previously I stuck my miniatures to cork stoppers, but when I started a new army project with predominantly 40 mm bases I was left wanting, because the handles were too small for the bases. So I set out to find the perfect miniature painting handle.
And here it is! (At least in my opinion...)
It comes in two versions, one with a flat top surface to adhere the miniature to with some poster putty and one with a hole for a cork stopper, so miniatures can be mounted with wires or pins. It tested them with 25 to 40 mm bases and they work great.
There's also a rack to hold ten painting handles for easier storage and so the handles don't fall over if you accidentally knock the table.
Important: Print the handles upside down. Otherwise you'll get a small lip where the lower radius touches the build plate, which is very uncomfortable to hold in your hand.
Update: I added a rack with only 8 cavities for smaller printers.
Update: Added an even smaller rack per request.
