UPDATE 5/12/2015: Now Customizable!
Thank you all for your feedback, many of you have said you wanted a taller version. Now you can open in Customizer and make it as tall as you need. Enjoy! :)
Yet another spool holder for the Printrbot Simple Metal in a vertical configuration, in which the filament line gracefully descends from the spool to the extruder.
This is a two piece design consisting of a base and an arm. The hole in the base is angled 5 degrees to compensate for the leveraged weight of a spool so that the arm remains somewhat level under load.
The length and height position of the arm works for the various small and large hole spools, and the new Makerbot large diameter flat reel.
