The file 'Printed Dymaxion Map 3D Printer Model' is (scad,stl) file type, size is 2.1MB.
I created a printed version of Gav's Dymaxion map. I used PandaCNC's illustrator file to convert the lasercut drawing to 3D printed version.
I cleaned up the file a bit, and created a color change triangles.
Color change:
0mm - 1mm : base (ocean)
1mm - 2mm: continents
2mm - 2.4mm: grid
2.4mm - 2.8mm: Prime meridian (Greenwich) and Equator
I use for base glow in the dark (blue), bronze (continents), black (grid), gold (equator)
You need the inserts from Gav's Dymaxion map, and 60 M3x10mm screws.
