The file 'Printed Balance Bike For 2yo (draisienne) (Dandy Horse) 3D Printer Model' is (stl, zip) file type, size is 4.8MB.
I designed this bike for my Daughter's 2 years old Birthday :) She loves it and she witnessed the whole making of it!
I design it in a way that you don't need any fancy tools to make and assemble it.
You will need some drills and a drill gun. A hack saw to cut the aluminum parts and a file to clean those cuts. A screw driver and some wrenches.
For the assembly and the hardware you need please refer to the parts and assembly drawings files. You will find in those all the hardware you need and where to find the tires.
Printing wise:
-The STL files are named with how many of each file you need to print
-10 to 15% honey comb infill on most parts, 25% infill on the seat ones because that's where the most weight will be
-The top of the seat, the hand grips and the square plugs are printed in Makers flex.
Infill does not matter much for the plugs and grips but the top seat I found that a rectilinear infill at 15-20% give you a good squishiness.
On all parts I have 3 to 4 perimeters.

Let me know what you think and I'd love to see yours if you make one :)
