Summary

UPD 24 dec 2019:

  • Added a new hinge model called "h1 21mm no ear M4.stl"- it's the best variation as for me after ~9 months of use another ones.
  • Modified a reinforced variation os the hinges.
  • Modified a spring bearings.
  • Added new variations of rod screeds which can be printed with TPU/Rubber/Flex.
  • Added the .step model instead of .f3d.

This is my project of 3d-printable delta diagonal rod hinges for standard Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus effector and carriages. Hinges are for 10mm steel balls: for example

steel balls
.

If you want to mount balls on the origin Anycubic Kossel carriages and effector you need to use M3x20 capless screws. You can wrap it with thin wire as on my last photo and screw in the ball with a few quantity of epoxy or other type glue.

I used this rods:

.

Pay attention to DELTA_DIAGONAL_ROD value: for hinges 21 mm and 200 mm rods it is 242mm (printing area is about 210mm!). For hinges 30 mm it is 260 mm (printing area is about 230 mm!).
21 mm or 30 mm means the distance between center of steel ball and rod connection.

It is also important to eliminate rods rotation around its axis to reduce the risk of fly off.
I recommend to print hinges with long ears for this or use anti-rotation bearings.
I also recommend to add some grease in the hinge-ball connection.

I use springs from this kit:
