The file 'Print In Place Impossible Screw Mechanism 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 9.7MB.
This is a screw toy that can be print in place as an assembly with mobile nut and screw. I call it "impossible" because the nut cannot be removed from the screw (without breaking it), and can only be assembled by 3d printing.
This is meant to be a demonstration toy of how 3d printers can be used to build an assembly with moving parts.
The assembly may need some breaking in before the parts move smoothly. I tried to make the clearance large enough so the parts will not fuse together while printing, but not too large so the assembly still performs like a screw and nut pair.
The short version is 50mm in length and the Long version is 120mm in length. The longer version is designed so it will fit in Flashforge FInder's 140 mm print space.
