The file 'Print In Place Articulated Figure – Male 7″ 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.3MB.
This is about 7.1" at 100%. Doesn't need supports. I printed one but put some apoxie sculpt on it with a head I made. Also, I redid the joints so they stay on better than my female design. These have cylinder joints. The female one has sphere joints. I'll be updating that one soon.
prints best with a .3 nozzle at high. on normal prints in about 1.5 hours with a .3 nozzle.
when setting up in cura pull the model down on the zed about -.2mm so the first layer prints well. I've had issues of the extruder traveling to far off lands on the first layer so I adjust to fix that. It still does that a little but the layer is thicker.
When finished printing use plyers to gently loosen the spin joints. wiggle back and forth. Also the first layer sometimes sticks so you might have to gently cut with a razor. I've printed without doing that before, but To ensure not printing again it helps to do that first.
Thanks for printing if you do. And I'd love to see what anyone else does with it. I made to basically make my own action figures.
Edit: I updated this a bit. I felt the legs were too long so I made them a bit shorter. Attached is the original about 7.25" and the other is a bit under 7 inch. I also made the bending joints a bit tighter.
Technically this is Still a work in progress. I'm always updating and changing it haha.
