My wife is a girl scout troop leader and wanted a way for them to practice safe knife skills, especially for using knives that have a liner lock, requiring you to put your finger in the path of the closing blade. (Daisys, ~1st grade level)
I remixed Yerocer's version - a few tweaks but the main change is the blade is very dull and rounded.
At full size it's a 2.75" blade, but I printed several scaled to 80% to better fit the girls' hands and that seems to work well. I also tried 66%, but that was a bit small, didn't work as well.
The snap fit and other tolerances could be a refined a bit more, but it did the trick.
