3D printable power track chain. This was inspired after a recent visit to a school that had tons of big machines with giant power tracks for various wires and pneumatic systems. I wondered if they could be 3D printed. Here is the first round that can house wires inside a 10mm x 10mm space through the center of the track.
Print the parts and simply snap them together. It works like a charm. The multiple chain link stl files can also be printed to speed up assembly time but you must carefully check your print settings to ensure your flow rate is not too high. They can easily be dislodged from one another with a little bit of bending back and forth.
Could probably used for tank tracks as well, but haven't tried that yet.
