The Makita battery adapter is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3875426

It fits the excellent TS100 soldering iron as well as the cheap but nice SH72 soldering iron.
With the DPH3205 or DPH5005 you can have voltages between 0V-32V or 0-50V. Of course the normal DPS3005 etc will fit as well but then you only get 0V-16V or so.
With the modular design you can choose to have the soldering iron on the left or right side. The slots makes it easy to desing your own attachment. I have made a soldering iron stand, solder roll holder and a brass sponge tip cleaner holder.

There are 2x 4mm holes for 4mm banana connectors, spaced 19.05mm apart. Above those, there is a 8mm hole for a 5.5/2.1. DC jack. On the other side, there is a hole for a XT60 connector (brand Amass) and above that a 6mm hole for an on/off switch. These connectors should be connected to the PSU output. At the rear, there is another 8mm hole which is ment to be a direct connection to the battery terminal.

The soldering iron holder needs a 19mm bearing like 607ZZ, 626ZZ or similar. OD 19mm, ID your choice, width 6mm.

I also created a top tray to store various parts. It sits on top of the main box with pins inserted in the four screw holes.

Assembly:
The top and bottom main box parts screws together with 4x 16mm M3 screws
The bottom part and battery mount screws together using M4 screws. Clean up the printed threads using M3x0.5 and M4x0.7 tap (metric standard threads).

The DPHxxxx PCB screws down using short M3 screws. The holes are not threaded but slightly under sized and should work without pre-threads. Just do not overtighten.

The power board fan screws must be recessed or they will interfere with the inside of the box.

I used a Polyfuse 5000mA/30V (polyswitch) as fuse on the terminal block.

Whats left to do?
Perhaps some vent hole. I do not expect to use any heavy loads so the PSU should not heat up much. I might add some more attachements that will fit the slots. Any idéas?
