A pretty snowflake, deconstructed!
The flake is actually 3D, not just an extruded outline, and as been saved in three sizes, and deconstructed into sub-flakes to sprinkle around your tree. The design is in 6 sectors, that can be edited in and out with the scad file. The mid sized flake makes a nice item to post inside a card to someone.
This snowflake is designed to print with 0.25mm layers, and a 0.5mm extrusion width (0.4mm nozzle) the scad file can be edited to match other setups. This avoids slicer gaps and keeps the layer count even between the different heights. Sharp corners and narrow angle holes have been avoided, and the thickness steps are 1.5, 2.5 and 3 mm so each has plenty of layers for strength.
Enjoy!
PS Okay, okay - my white is a bit thready with my bowden setup, but it is just the right colour :) I'll clean them up, and those with better setup printers will get cleaner results.
