Portable gas cylinders are commonly used for gas stoves in camping and hiking. They have a protective plastic cap. This cap protects the cylinder from gas leakage due to accidental pressing of the valve during transportation.
Unfortunately, when transporting the cylinder in a backpack, this cap easily falls off the cylinder. After this, gas leakage from the cylinder becomes possible. This is very dangerous in the confined space of a car.
This lock prevents accidental loss of the protective cap, which makes transportation of the cylinder safer.
