This is the car that stands for the German car manufacturer Porsche. The nine-eleven or "Neun-Elfer" is the epitome of German "Ingenieurskunst" with a rear-mounted six cylinder boxer engine and a legendary durability. It made it on the 5th place of the Car of the Century.
Using a desktop cnc-machine by Stepcraft with a spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute (3 mm for the oak) I milled the parts from baltic birch plywood and oak. 5 mm beech rods made the axles, vinyl washers improve the tire movement.
A laser cutter might be a good alternative tool to create smaller versions.
