The file 'Polaroid I-2 Color Gel Filter Mount 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 13.8KB.
I made this so that I don't have to purchase expensive color filters that fit the 49mm threads on the Polaroid I-2 camera. Instead, I decided to use Fusion360 for the second time in my life and made this.
It does block a bit of the right side of the viewfinder, but it is not a big deal in my opinion. Of course, if desired I will make a version where the corner is reduced or rounded off.
The internal cavity is 57.9 mm wide or just shy of 58 mm.
I have included two files. V2 is larger and better for having two or three filters (any more is not recommended). Also, it is easier to remove supports if you print as is. V3 is smaller and has the filter more secured against the camera. It is harder to print and remove supports.
What to do:
Get plastic/gel color filters of your choosing (cheap on Amazon)
Cut it to a rectangle taller than the filter mount, or a square with a pull tab to get it out.
Print the 3D model
Remove Supports
Test fit it on the camera
Up the exposure compensation for darker filters (red, blue, purple)
