The file 'Polaroid 600 Box Camera Replacement Hinge 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 61.3KB.
This is a hinged mechanism meant for Polaroid 600 Series box cameras (such as the Sun 600) whose flash bars are missing their original hinge or hinges. It only acts to stabilise the flash bar laterally, and does not have a locking mechanism to keep it raised. To do this you can use your thumb to hold it while open while shooting. When closed, it has no tension to keep the bar in place so you do have to be careful.
You need to print two of the part 'Articulating Arm' as the arms are identical, so I only put one file.
Only use this mechanism if you are prepared to glue the attachment points on securely to the camera, as not doing this will mean the mechanism will have a high likelihood of falling off/damaging the camera more. I used this on a bargain bin camera that was already beaten up and scuffed so I do not mind ruining the plastic body. You have been warned.
P.S I cooked this design up in an hour so not everything is fully thought through, it works well enough for my purposes.
