I wanted to make this Pokéball with magnetic casp https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:420782
but I also wanted to be able to really press the button and make some kind of release happen, so I edited it. You will need a spring (from a pen or a battery pack) and some strong glue to assemble it (I've coated the base of the spring with epoxy and glued everything that needed to be glued using super glue and epoxy). In the pictures I had to use a bigger magnet since I did not have small ones, so I enlarged the holes with a dremmel. Just to let you know it's possible. The only parts that do NOT have to be glued are the bottom half, the pin and the internal part of the white button.
I've also swapped the top and the bottom since the black ring is supposed to stay with the top red part (both in the original anime and in the latest games, Sun and Moon).
I've also made the inside of the Pokéball round, just print it with supports or have faith in your overhangs.
