The file 'Pokeball, Greatball, Ultraball, Premier Ball 3D Printer Model' is (stl, dxf) file type, size is 8.6 MB.
Every year I make video game stuff and donate it to my local Extra Life charity run. 2016 was Pokeballs!
I modelled them from scratch and printed all the parts out. I hand smoothed everything.Multipart molds were made from Mold Max 30 and 40. Then the parts were replicated in a dyed plastic resin. The stripes on the ultra and great balls were then painted. They were then glued together using epoxy and a special spacing tool I made for them (I'll try find the file). Then, I machined out clip together acrylic stands for them to be displayed on.
I removed the tapered part or the button so I could stuff more glue behind it for a better hold.
The models were made from scratch with the intent for polyurethane casting, so they only have a depth ring on them, making them a little difficult to line up without the tool.
I hope you enjoy them and maybe think about using your skills to help out people in need. :)
