Summary

I call it the "Ash" tray (see what I did there?). I mean yeah, the dude is 10 years old, but he's trapped in this age for couple of decades now - I'm sure he's a smoker.

This design was inspired (but not remixed) by this planter: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2239205

Notes:

  1. You should enable supports for the lid printing (90 degree angles only). If you are printing with a glass bed, you can probably print without supports placing the lid upside down. I don't own a glass bed, so I printed with supports.

  2. Every other part doesn't require support.

  3. The button is a small part, so in order for it to look and feel better, I printed it with 100% infill (you can drop this value depending on your printer).

  4. 20% infill is more than enough for every other part.

  5. When printing the middle part, I found that it'll look better if you align the button hole on the Y axis - this will eliminate the ghosting.

  6. Every part fits and sits tight, but you will probably want to sand the button a little bit to put it in place.
