The file 'Pokeball 2×2 Extensions 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.0 MB.
The files included here are the extensions needed to make a 2x2 pokeball twisty puzzle. The base puzzle is a Mofang Jiaoshi MF2C 2x2. The caps on the corners need to be removed on the MF2C for the extensions to go into place. They should snap onto existing tabs on the puzzle.
There are 3 sets of pieces here:
pokeball1-4
pokeballfillet1-4
morefillet1-4 (the version shown in the full picture)
Each has progressively more fillets added to the pieces which should make the puzzle more comfortable to handle and turn better, though they may break the aesthetic of the puzzle somewhat. I included the different versions so that you can choose whether to prioritize the appearance of the puzzle, or the usability/comfort of it.
When printing the pieces, you need to print 2 copies of each piece in a set. Orienting the pieces for printing/generating supports can be tricky, especially with the tabs on the inside. The tabs can come out surprisingly messy and still work just fine (especially if you glue them into place while they are snapped onto the M2FC corner pieces.
These are untested models, and have not yet been printed. The final puzzle will be ~3.45 in (8.86 cm) in diameter.
