My wife asked me to print some poinsettias for Christmas

Instructions:

Print four red flowers and four green flowers. green flowers will be used as leaves.

Flowers may be printed singly (poinsettia_tc_151206.stl) or four at a time (poinsettia_tc_151208a_dup4.stl).

Print four green "buttons" (poinsettia_button_151206_dup4.stl)

Print flower pot, flower pot top and stems from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:54999.

• 1 top: shamrock_130224k_top.stl - suggest brown or black
• 1 pot: shamrock_130225c_pot.stl - suggest orange or red
• 4 stems: - suggest green
  --- either: 1 shamrock_130224h_4_stems.stl which contains all 4 stems
  --- or:
  --- --- 1 shamrock_130224e_stem_1.stl (stem 1)
  --- --- 2 shamrock_130224f_stem_2.stl (stem 2)
  --- --- 1 shamrock_130224f_stem_3.stl (stem 3)

Assembly:

I glued the parts together using nail polish remover (acetone). Trial fit parts prior to gluing and shave if necessary with and exacto knife.

glue each poinsettia to a stem:

• slide one green flower onto a stem
• slide one red flower onto the stem (rotate red flower 90 degrees until red flower points fit between the green flower points)
• slide on the button
• glue all the pieces of the flower together

glue the flower pot top to the pot.

glue the flower stems to the flower pot with the flowers facing outward. see the stem gluing diagram.
