I modified the design to be cut out of two sheets of 3/4 inch X 2 foot X 4 foot birch plywood using the Shaper Origin handheld CNC tool.
The OpenSCAD file includes a DogBoneCut module which was used to make the corners for the interlocking joints.
This was my first time cutting plywood and I had some issues with the bit getting gummed up and lighting the material on fire. I used a spray on stain but I think that a wipe or brush on stain would have turned out better.
