I liked Dave's plate rack straight away. That's exactly what I need for my motorhome.
Now that Dave has made the Fusion 360 file available, I've set about adapting it to the dimensions of my 23 cm and 26 cm Mepal•Rosti plates. I have also moved the plates closer together to take up less space. I have also joined the holders for 4 small and 4 large plates together to form a single model. However, they can still be lined up. I removed the holes for the screws as I want to glue the holder in place with PowerStrips so that I can remove it again without leaving any residue if I change my mind.
After I had finished the first version, I realised that the plates rattled quite a bit and this is certainly not so pleasant when driving. As a result, I made the slots for the plates conical. Now the plates sit firmly in the holder and no longer make any noise.
